An awesome night of Blues, Rock and Reggae in Brunswick at the Luxor Lounge –
Headlining will be Melbourne City Ska Collective – One huge Over-Grown Spectacle of a Ska Ensemble – Horns, Winds, Strings 2/3rds Sweet 1/3 chaos!
Cameron Holmes playing is signature lap steel blues will be playing in a band setting with Spook The Banshee drummer Cale Burke & Sam Hudson bringing out some new tracks, and dragging as many of the performing musos onto stage with him as he can. Andrew Grant will be joining him on stage for a few tracks, hopefully John Hunter and Mark will jump up for a couple of solos as well?
Fionnuala Mckenna will be playing her unique mix of folk jazz and blues – and I tell you what, this girl has some pipes on her, and is no slouch on the guitar either!
And The Mark Sergeant Trouser Gardner Trio (with Gordon Gunn, John Hunter Combo) – All absolute gentlemen of the Melbourne Music Scene will ease us in to this fantastic evening with some soulful Blues and Folk.
Put simply, this event is $15.00 plus BF – it will be better value and more fun than that double foam soy half caf latte you just bought, and probably give your soul more nutrition 😉
